“Jackie’s Story” (AdvancedMedical.tv)

by

Maybe some of you recall a groundbreaking television series titled, The Operation. It was a modern day television version of the old “operating theater” used by medical students to learn the surgeon’s art. The producer of The Operation, Bill Hayes, went on to found AdvancedMedical.tv and established himself as one of the country’s foremost medical program producers. And, he is an old college buddy of mine.

Have a closer look at the sort of work now done by AdvancedMedical.tv with Jackie’s Story. It is the story of a 700-lb. woman who undergoes gastric bypass surgery, and was originally aired on Discovery Health.

  1. Bill Hayes Says:

Thanks for the kind words. Jackie’s story continues in We Lost 800 Pounds: Robin and Jackie. Jackie almost died several times after her bariatric surgery, but in part thanks to dozens of emails and letters offering support and kindness, she is doing great and has lost over 400 pounds.

We are also producing another hour with conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel, who just turned 16 and have secured their driver’s license. That film will be complete this fall.

Tomorrow, I head to Atlanta to be with the Brazilian healer, John of God.
